InstaScript runs entirely in your browser. When you upload a file for transcription, the audio is processed locally on your device using in-browser AI. Your uploaded files are never sent to or stored on any server.
2. URL-Based Transcription
When you paste an Instagram URL, our server fetches the video on your behalf (to bypass browser CORS restrictions) and delivers it to your browser. The video is not stored on our servers — it is streamed through and discarded. Audio extraction and transcription happen in your browser.
3. Third-Party Services
- Hugging Face CDN — delivers the AI speech recognition model to your browser on first use (~40 MB, cached afterward).
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and provides CDN delivery.
4. Advertising
This website may display advertisements from third-party advertising networks. These partners may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Use of these technologies is governed by the respective ad network's privacy policy.
5. Cookies
InstaScript itself does not set any cookies. Third-party advertising partners may set cookies to deliver and measure ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
